Floorball
Floorball is een snelle, uitdagende, veilige en goedkope vorm van indoor hockey. Het lijkt op zaalhockey en is afgeleid van ijshockey. Het wordt gespeeld met lichtgewicht kunststof of carbon sticks en regels die veiligheid en vaardigheid promoten. Floorball kun je praktisch overal spelen en is ideaal voor scholen, buurtsportcentra en hockeyteams als training in de winter. Het kan op elk niveau gespeeld worden, recreatief zoals bij ons, maar ook voor competitie niveau kun je bij ons terecht. Floorball wordt gespeeld in 50 landen over de hele wereld en heeft de Olympische status gekregen in 2008.

Floorball
Floorball is a fast-paced, exciting, safe and low-cost type of indoor hockey. At first glance, it resembles floor hockey or ball hockey but is played with specialized light-weight fibre glass or carbon fibre sticks and rules that promote safety and skill. Floorball can be played practically anywhere and is ideal for schools, community centres or for hockey teams as dry-land training. It can be played recreational, but also on competition level. Floorball is played in 50 countries around the world and received provisional recognition from the International Olympic Committee in December 2008.
